How we protect your data

Information we collect

We only gather the details required to operate Hatitools. This includes the basics you share when creating an account and the minimal analytics needed to keep the platform reliable.

• Account details such as your name, email address, and profile image.
• Usage information like the tools you access, features you tap, and basic device data (browser, language, and rough location).
• Files you upload to process with our tools. These stay in your browser unless you choose to save them to Supabase or download them yourself.

How we use your information

Your data helps us run the service, improve the experience, and secure your account.

• Authenticate you and remember your preferred settings.
• Provide, maintain, and enhance the tools you choose to use.
• Detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect Hatitools and its users.
• Communicate important updates about your account or changes to our services.

Storage and retention

Most processing happens directly in your browser. When you elect to store a board, QR code, or asset in the cloud, we save it in Supabase using servers located in the EU.

• Uploaded files are deleted automatically after processing unless you explicitly save them.
• Account data remains until you delete your profile or request removal.
• Backups are held for disaster recovery and follow the same security controls as our production systems.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your information. We only share data with trusted partners that help us run Hatitools, and they are bound by strict privacy and security obligations.

• Supabase for authentication, file storage, and database hosting.
• Error monitoring or logging providers that assist with uptime and performance.
• Regulators or authorities when required to comply with the law or protect rights and safety.

Your choices

You stay in control of your information.

• Access, update, or delete your profile information at any time from the account page.
• Request a full export or deletion of your account by emailing hello@hatitools.com.
• Opt out of non-essential product emails by using the unsubscribe link or adjusting your preferences.

Children

Hatitools is built for professionals and students aged 16 and older. We never knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us so we can take action.
